Yellow Room
Prekindy (2.6 – 3.6 years)
2 staff/16 children Children in the yellow room learn through a fun educational program, where each child’s individual needs are supported to reach their full potential. The environment is warm and caring, where children can feel secure to explore. Families are always welcome to be a part of the program with open communication seen as vital to ensuring individual needs are met. 2 ½ to 3 ½ years for many children is the first time they experience formal care away from the home. As this is a time of great adjustment for the child and their family, we work closely with parents to support individual needs.

Playgrounds Three playgrounds keep babies, toddler and 3-5 year olds all playing safely separately. • The 3 – 5 year playground is one of the largest in Brisbane. It offers large open spaces, a windy bike track, beautiful shady trees, a huge sand pit nestled amongst the garden, swings, climbing equipment and a wide variety of quality education resources. • Directly off from their room, the toddlers have their own play ground. This allows them flexibility in routine as well as the ability to set up age appropriate equipment and materials. • The babies too have an outdoor space of their own, flowing through off their indoor play area. Lush grass offers a wonderful sensory experience. They too can play undisturbed in their own shady area.
